Letters to a Muslim Friend — Letter 5

It has been interesting to watch the news from Mecca, and see the devotion of the pilgrims on the Hajj. May you and your family have a blessed Eid.

I want to follow up my last letter by sending you a sermon I preached here some weeks ago about who Jesus is. This is obviously the main difference between Islam and Christianity. .[I have already posted that here].

I am mindful of the counsel of the Qur’an that the people of the book should not dispute with one another. So I don’t offer this to you as an argument against the teaching of Islam. Rather, I offer it to you instead simply as an example of how I present these teachings when speaking to my own congregation.

Peace be with you.
