In the news in Houston: Roland Carnaby claimed to be a CIA agent, and was the president of the local chapter of former intelligence employees. But a recent traffic stop led to a chase and then to Carnaby being shot and killed by police. Lots of questions are being asked now about Carnaby–and about police actions. The cop, suspicious of the story Carnaby was telling him, asked for advice and was told “Find something to arrest him on.” Then, as Carnaby lay on the ground, handcuffed and bleeding of the gunshot wound, police took no action to aid him. Their excuse: they aren’t trained as paramedics.
