Reading the Bible

The Bible is one of those books that is on lots of shelves, but little read.

But is it that great a feat? A group of students in Colombia took turns reading it out loud, and finished it in 70 hours. Reading it silently, you can do it in 40 hours or less.

  1. You can download James Earl Jones reading the NT from iTunes, it costs about $20 and takes 18.5 hrs. Believe it or not Seamus Heaney reading Beowulf takes just over 2 hrs.
