Snow in New York

Ah, the memories this brings back. Folks down here in the South are using hyperbole to speak of the lake effect snows of upstate New York, but for those who live there, or have ever lived there, this is familiar stuff. Our last winter in Watertown (aka Snowtown) saw six feet of snow on the ground before Christmas, and a stretch of cold when it didn’t get above -30 for a week (not counting the wind chill).
