    Ever seen Billy Graham on TV? He invites people to come forward, acknowledging a decision, as the choir sings, “Just as I am.” See Wikipedia entry.

    Believe it or not, I have never seen Billy Graham preach. I have occasionally watched Joel Osteen and one Christmas season I attended a 2nd Baptist Christmas show (which was an extravaganza)- and there was I guess, now, an altar call after some testimonies from former prostitutes and drug addicts. It is a foreign scene to a cradle Catholic.

    Wow. You must be one of three people over 40 who haven’t watched Billy Graham. :-)

    I thought Catholics had altar calls every service? ;-)
